Adopting a hands-on approach, Ian is involved in all aspects of each project. From estimating, through to project management, Ian keeps you in the loop at all times. Providing you with photos of works completed as part of a daily update, we also give you a regular record of progress.

MEET IAN ODGERS

Builder Boys Managing Director

Beginning his career in construction as a carpentry apprentice in Sydney in the early 1980s, Ian moved to the Gold Coast to manage and supervise a range of residential and commercial projects throughout the 1990s until now.

In 1998, Ian was hired by Lanskey Constructions Pty Ltd to oversee their retail, food, commercial and petroleum projects. Here, Ian worked with a range of clients, including Coles, Woolworths, McDonald's, Hungry Jacks, ANZ, NAB, Australia Post, Ampol, Caltex, Coles Express, 7-Eleven and BP Australia.

Whilst with Lanskey Constructions, Ian led and managed the complete set-up of their interstate office in Melbourne, playing a major role in establishing their national footprint.

Since launching Builder Boys Pty Ltd, Ian has successfully completed multi-store renovations for various clients. More recently he has delivered an exceptional rebuild and refurbishment project for Paradise Resort, as well as a foyer renovation for The Hilton, Surfers Paradise.

Backed by extensive industry experience and expertise, Ian dependably delivers successful results for his clients. Through his dedication to good communication, effective programming and efficient procurement, Ian is adept at completing construction projects on time with maximum cost savings for clients.

SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

Operating in an inherently high-risk industry, the safety of our contractors is paramount. Dedicated to mitigating risk, Builder Boys comply with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety regulations.

Having worked on many live fuel sites and commercial premises, Builder Boys have developed a Safety Management Plan which is strictly adhered to. Additionally, Ian organises and attends a pre-start meeting each morning on-site where he speaks to each tradesperson and ensures all SWMS have been signed before performing a site safety assessment.
